Coronavirus Action

At this difficult time for business, communities and families we would like to reassure our clients that in tandem with our 5 star hygiene rating we have taken advice from one of the countries leading Health and Safety groups in order to provide as safe an environment as possible for our staff, guests and suppliers.

We remain fully operational and are open to opportunities for our skilled team of staff to undertake food preparation, delivery and service of meals to institutions, companies and families large and small.

As our normal day to day business has been adversely affected we have come full circle and launched an exciting raft of retail sales from our premises in Attercliffe. (Having started our business in 2006 with a Coffee Shop). Our wood fired pizza oven will be be daily operation at 54 STaniforth Road providing authentic Italian style pizza to local business. We have also launched a take-away (with local free delivery) breakfast and lunch menu. See details here.

Indeed it will be through supporting each other within our own localities that our businesses will have the best chance of survival through these times. We are also offering our venue, Upstairs@PJtaste, at discounted rates to businesses looking for a meeting and event space and to families who may wish to book a private dining room. Call us for details 0114 312 3663.

We appreciate that while we are operating normally that some events are likely to be postponed. In the case where we have taken a despoit we will work with our clients to transfer this to a future date. We can also offer our venue as a potential alternative space should other venues be forced to close.

Public Health England (PHE) recommends that the following general cold and flu precautions are taken to help prevent people from catching and spreading COVID-19:

  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. See Catch it, Bin it, Kill it

  • put used tissues in the bin straight away

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. See hand washing guidance

  • try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

  • clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

  • do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

If you are worried about symptoms, please call NHS 111. Do not go directly to your GP or other healthcare environment.
